The Down Syndrome Research Group at the University of Arizona is studying the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea and cognitive (memory, thinking, etc.) and everyday functioning in children with Down syndrome aged 7-18. We do need to see children who may NOT have sleep problems as well as those who do.
We are recruiting participants in the Tucson and Phoenix regions.
Here is a bit of information about what the study involves:
The study has three parts: (a) a sleep assessment, (b) a cognitive assessment, and (c) questionnaires that you and your daughter’s teacher fill out.
